Music With Grace
Hello! My name is Grace Landry.
I’ve been teaching music since 2014. It has always been a meaningful part of my life that I enjoy deeply. Currently, I’m pursuing a BEd in Biology with a minor in Music, combining my love for teaching science in the classroom and teaching music in my own studio. Teaching music from a young age helped me discover my passion and love for it, leading me to become a teacher.
My musical journey includes winning multiple competitions for violin and piano, as well as accompanying choirs. I believe that everyone, regardless of age, should experience the joy that music brings.
Outside the classroom and studying, I love spending quality time with my family, whether we’re enjoying time at home or off on new adventures together. I also enjoy creative hobbies like bullet journaling, embroidery, and woodworking. My dachshund, Bowii, is my world. We love going for walks, park visits, and snuggling to unwind from the day. These passions and experiences outside the classroom help me stay grounded and bring fresh energy to my teaching!

Bachelor's of Education (BEd) in Biology, Minor in Music
During my Bachelor's degree in Education, I gained valuable insights into effective classroom management strategies, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies. These skills are not only applicable in traditional classroom settings but also in my music lesson studio, enriching the learning experience for my students. Additionally, my music minor allowed me to engage in university-level piano lessons, music theory, music history, and more. This comprehensive Education has equipped me with the tools necessary to enhance my music lessons and foster a deeper appreciation for music in my students.
